The Do's and Dont's of Pants Stay Put

The Do's
- Four Pant Stay Sticks and Four Pouches needed for each pair of pants.
- Remove Pant Stay Stick from each pouch before ironing two pouches into each pant leg.
- Turn pants inside out for easy installation.
- Heat iron to appropriate setting for your pant material.
- Peel off the removable film from the back of the back of the pant pouch before ironing.
- Position the pouch vertically on the underside of the pant hem, ½ inch up from the bottom of the pant hem and ¼ inch from the pant crease on the back of the pant leg.
- Be sure the pouch is positioned with the slit (opening for the stick) facing toward the top of the pant.
- Place and hold heated iron on pouch for 30 to 35 seconds until securely bonded to the pant hem. No more than 45 seconds.
- The pouch must be Completely Cooled before gently placing the pant stay stick back in each pouch.
- Remove all pant stay sticks from their pouches before washing or dry-cleaning.
- Replace pant stay sticks in pouches when ready to wear.
The Dont's
- Do not leave Pant Stay Sticks in pouches when adhering pouches to pant material, the stick will distort.
- Do not overheat iron. Use appropriate setting for pant material.
- Do not forget to peel film from the back of the pouch before ironing.
- Do not iron pouch in pant hem upside down or horizontally.
- The slit in the pouch should be positioned vertically with the slit facing towards the top of the pant.
- Once ironed the pouch is not removable.
- Do not hold iron on pouch for more than 45 seconds.
- Do not place Pant Stay Stick back in pouch until Completely Cooled.
- Do not leave Pant Stay Stick in pouch when laundering.
- Do not place Pant Stay Stick back in pouch until ready to wear.
